Our Close Relationship to Water

Water -our greatest resource - yboggle.com

Here are some interesting things to consider about water and how we relate to it.

More than the just naming Earth the Water Planet, Earthlings should be known throughout the Universe as the Water People!  God created us to mirror the type of planet He created for us. Consider this: the Earth is 2/3 water …and so are we Human Beings!  We are made up of between 65 and 75% water. To top that off, our blood has a salinity which is very similar to the salt content in our Oceans.  Coincidence?  I don’t think so.  Our lives revolve around having access to abundant water and clean air.

Yet when we look at the impoverished nations of our world, we consistently see they are trapped in arid and remote places where access to good, fresh water is totally lacking.

As Americans, often considered as the Richest People in the world in access to resources, we are realizing more and more that we need to spread our Blessing of Precious Water with those who lack it.

As a result we need to focus on assisting those in remote areas without wells or water filtration systems. Indeed, Mission Firefly.org, a Non-Profit Organization in Northern Alabama, is dedicated to filling that roll.  They have been working in remote regions of Guatemala caring for children and providing clean water for communities there.  A handful of NASA Engineers who are members of the group, have been trained to build and install Ozone Filtration Systems which can be put into nearly any impure water system to provide villages with pure water of a quality that it can be bottled and sold!  Mission Firefly sees their role as assisting primitive or under-privileged peoples in having water which can be the Blessing God meant for us all to have on The Water Planet!
